Role Overview

We are currently hiring in-country H-2B Food Prep Workers to support kitchen operations in a fast-paced food service environment. This role is ideal for individuals already in the United States on an active H-2B visa who are eligible for an extension or transfer.

Food Prep Workers play a key role in maintaining efficient kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, assisting cooks, and ensuring cleanliness and food safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ingredients such as vegetables, meats, and sauces according to instructions

  • Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks

  • Maintain the cleanliness of prep stations, kitchen equipment, and work areas

  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards

  • Properly store food items and supplies

  • Assist with inventory organization when needed

  • Support the kitchen team during peak service times

  • Follow instructions from kitchen supervisors and chefs

  • Maintain a positive, reliable, and team-oriented attitude

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Currently in the United States on an active H-2B visa

  • Eligible for an H-2B extension or transfer

  • Minimum of 3 months of food prep or kitchen experience

  • Beginner English proficiency (able to understand instructions and communicate basic needs)

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical job duties

  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays

Preferred (Not Required):

  • Experience in a commercial kitchen or restaurant

  • Familiarity with basic kitchen tools and equipment

  • Previous seasonal or hospitality work experience
